Olga Demczuk, 91, died Sunday, August 17, 2008, at Kansas City Hospice House in Kansas City, Mo.

She was born October 10, 1916, in Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine, the daughter of Vassyl and Anne (Soroka) Hlynsky.

Olga was a school teacher and taught the primary grades. She married her husband, Iwan Demczuk, in the Ukraine in 1942. They came to the United States in 1947, and settled in Chicago, Ill. They later moved to Wausaukee in 1950, where they had a dairy farm.

Olga is survived by daughters: Larissa (Samuel) Hogan of Marinette, and Dr. Roxolana (Dr. Dennis) Bresnahan of Kansas City, Mo.; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Anne Melnick of Ukraine.
